Jonathan Newby, former frontman and occasional pianist for Brazil, has steadily maintained the band’s blog with near-daily updates from his tour notebook, where he apparently kept track of nearly every show ever played during the band’s 7-or-so year career, starting the log sometime in 2001.

During their career, Brazil were a band that saw the potential that digital communities like MySpace gave that would allow fans and bands to communicate, and they used this to their advantge doing things such as last December of ’06’s “Brazil’s Twelve Days of Christmas” featuring a new Brazil goodie, ranging from sheet music to rare acoustic versions of songs was posted for fans.
